Quality and Control Assistant Manager, Supply Chain APAC

We are looking for a Quality and Control Assistant Manager for Asendia APAC to be based in Singapore. In this position, you are reporting to the Head of Quality and Network APAC. In this function, you are to understand the supply chain business that Asendia APAC offers ranging from the activities and solutions we have including fulfilment, postal logistic and premium logistic channels. You will be tasked and involved in the building up, rollout and also as a major user of a quality control tower for Asendia APAC; to support our internal and external customers and to contribute to local, regional and global Supply Chain projects which are organized under a matrix organization.

Your Tasks

 

To participate in building up and roll out a supply chain quality control tower for internal and external customers, covering the whole supply chain from operations, transport partner and las mile delivery carriers.

To work closely with different stakeholders of the business and determine the options of improvement in terms of supply chain, operations processes, and delivery values in order to excel the business of E-Commerce.

To be involved and work closely with supply chain teams in the region and globally for new and current developments and projects and produce insight on the processes and Service Level Agreements which could prove benefit for the future business success.

To support the regional Head of Quality and Network in building up and maintaining strategic partnerships with airline carriers and last mile delivery partners.

 

Your Profile

 

Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management preferably.

Extensive knowledge in Supply Chain and with at least 5 years’ experience in logistics and project management for E-Commerce Business, preferable in the markets of Asia and Oceania.

Experience in working with airfreight and last mile delivery carriers.

Excellent verbal & written communication in English.

Strong interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

Experience in international project work.

Strong independent worker.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft office and/or any project management tool.
