Hellenic Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that heavy rainstorms have been causing flooding and landslides in many areas of the country (particularly in the centre and north) since 5 September 2023.
As a result, many of Hellenic Post's domestic operations (collection, transportation and delivery) have been disrupted. The transportation and processing of inbound and outbound mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) are affected and, consequently, delays are to be expected in the delivery of mail throughout Greece.
