The Office of Posts and Telecommunications (OPT-NC), France's designated operator for New Caledonia, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that New Caledonia is currently experiencing riots and large-scale road blockages. As a result, OPT-NC is obliged to suspend its transport (import and export) and delivery operations for domestic and international mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items), as well as its customer service centre activities, until further notice.
