Nouméa-La Tontouta International Airport has reopened for commercial flights, which has enabled OPT-NC to resume the import and export of postal freight. However, the frequency of flights and airlines' available capacity have not yet recovered to pre-crisis levels. Mail can also be imported and exported via surface transport (maritime).
The forwarding and delivery of local and international mail are still subject to limitations, and access to certain areas remains difficult. Customer service operations have resumed, but are still primarily dedicated to management of the current crisis.
In view of these conditions, the situation of force majeure continues to apply.
