Poland – Update on postal operations following floods

Poczta Polska, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that the heavy rainfall and resulting local flash floods continue to affect all postal operations.

Furthermore, continuing heavy rains in the Lower Silesian, Opole and Silesian voivodeships (provinces) of Poland have led to floods in additional areas.

As a result, road blockages are causing delays in the transportation and delivery of mail items (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) in the most severely affected postcode areas, as follows: 32XXX, 45XXX, 46XXX and 49XXX.
