The designated operator of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, SVG Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that the country has been heavily hit by Hurricane Beryl, with 90% of structures on Union Island and Mayreau destroyed.
Argyle International Airport has been closed for the last three days and will reopen at 13.00 AST on 3 July 2024. The office of exchange in Kingstown, Saint Vincent, was closed for the same period and will resume operations on 4 July.
As a result of this disruption, delays are to be expected in the processing of letter-post and parcel-post items.
