Further to EmIS 081/2024, the designated operator of Viet Nam, VNPost, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, following the ransomware attack in early June, it has recovered 95% of its IT capacity, effective from 4 July 2024. The IT applications supporting international postal services (including IPS, CDS and POST*Net) have been fully recovered.
A few minor issues persist that may affect ITMATT message transmission, but VNPost is actively working to resolve these within the first two weeks of July.
