Viet Nam – Severe flooding

VNPost, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to the recent passage of Typhoon Yagi, several northern Vietnamese provinces have experienced severe flooding.

This natural disaster has caused significant disruption to postal operations, including the delivery of international letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items, in the following provinces: Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Lang Son, Lai Chau, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Ha Noi and Hai Phong.

As a result, VNPost's service quality commitments, as declared to the UPU, may be affected. VNPost is monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates via EmIS as conditions improve and once operations have resumed as normal.
